Well the Captin Jeff Steele Memorial Reef car wash yesterday went wonderfully. The turnout was incredible. We ended up raising almost 1600.00 in roughly 5 hours. THANK YOU all who were able to make it out. Itis such a amazin gfeeling to know that we all came together and made this possible. I look forward to the Poker Run on sept 2. Heres a few pics.

Amazing teamwork for a great cause guys! What is the timeframe on the new artificial reef?

I believe we are just waiting on final clearance from Army corp of engineers and the $20,000 needed to deploy the reef. Most or all of the material has been collected, just trying to raise funds for the transport of the material to the reef site. That's the most expensive part, involving hours of heavy machinery use, trucks, barges & cranes, but now we are a little closer and will be even closer after next months poker run September 2nd!

Thank you, We certainly will keep everyone posted, but I have to admit, the car wash and the poker run are both Heidi's babies! She has really done 100% of the leg work and I'm just in the shadow supporting her. I can't believe how much she has accomplished and I'm very proud of her efforts. I know Jeff would be proud too.

Read about your ordeal Mike! Sorry you guys didn't get wet. i know I would have been very disappointed. I hope you get a do-over trip real soon. I hope you get a chance to make the poker run. I have a feeling this thing is just going to be enormous.

Adam, nice seeing you again, and great job for a great cause...I'm sure all of us who knew Jeff are glad to do anything to help in creating a memorial reef in his honor.
