I just worked out the whole scuba spearfishing down here in Costa Rica. The boat and facility is close and will pick you up here at our facility. I know you all will have questions so let them fly!

So scuba spearfishing is legal there? I had always just assumed that it wasn't.

Atlantic or Pacific side? What species and trophy opportunites do you have for scuba hunters there? What is the best time of year to hunt? Any photos of what you guys shoot? Thanks.

Yes it si perfectly leagal, And there is a perfect platform foe everyone here! Its a 30ft custom and Mike is a Master Instructor who has all the Scuba equipment here, including spearguns.

Are you guys on the Atlantic or Pacific side? I'm looking at taking a vacation down there this fall with my wife, and I'd like to get out spearing at least once while I'm there....either scuba or shallow freediving. I think we'll be near Playa Hermosa, but haven't settled 100% on that yet.

They are Pacific side on the peninsula.

We are south from there, but if you made it through the Guiones area i will take you out for either!
