Here's a picture of my fuel sender/gauge. I think it's a mechanical gauge since it works with the battery switches off. But it has some wires going to it. The boat doesn't have a fuel gauge on the console. Can I hook one up using this sender? Thanks.

My Airslot that I just sold had one of those in it when I first got it, dual function sender - I think west marine here still sells them.

The answer is yes. One of the wires is a ground. The other is the sender wire.
