Got a new one up on our website, actually 2 new ones in the last month. One from a couple weeks ago is "Joker Jacks"......short 4 minute video of fun spearin some Almaco and Amber Jacks on the USS Oriskany aircraft carrier.
The other one from a month and a half ago or so is called "8' Bull Shark, Cobia, and AJ" Had a 8 footer hangin around for bout 15 minutes, then another, slightly smaller one showed up near the end of the dive, then above us (not in hte video) fishermen had about a 7 footer to the side of the boat. Plenty exiting.
Just click on the link to the website in my signature below Team Chunky Love.
Hope you guys enjoy the videos!

What's the scoop on the helmet cam? Is it something you made or bought?
Very cool vids!

The helmet cam is just an old chopper helmet, one of the non DOT approved ones with no foam inside (brain buckets I call em) with an L shaped bracket on it. All underwater cameras have a threaded hole in the bottom of the housing, I guess for a tri-pod? I just screwed the little L shaped bracket to the helmet, and then use a couple o-rings as rubber washers, and 2 regular flat metal washers and put a screw thru up into the camera housing.
Heres a pic of the helmet cam, first day out.....

It aint the best video, but it is cheap, just a standard Casio underwater digital camera, that takes video too.
I made it one day last summer, after a dive when we had 3 sharks charging us non stop, they were smaller 5 foot or so, but I had an AJ clipped to my vest on my stringer, and had to jab the sharks at least 5 times, and in the meantime tryin to fumble with my camera clipped to a coil cord on me to get some sweet video of the whole thing. Needless to say, non of the action showed up on the video that I was shooting left handed while jabbing sharks.
I decided I needed a way I could film the action non stop and capture whatever may happen, and thus, the birth of my ghetto redneck homade helmet cam!
About the "O", yes, I have taken several nice grouper off of it. They are all at the flight deck though at 137 feet, or below the flight deck. I have never seen one up higher on the tower. AJ's are there, but the real big boys stay off in the distance, out over the sand. And to get em you would have to hang out out there, with the bottom 212 feet below you, and I aint that manly to shoot a 80 pound AJ suspended in 212 feet of water, with nothing around me. Plus, there is usually a pretty good current kicking out there.
But it is still a great dive. I have dove it probably over 20 times, and still see something new everytime I go.
Glad you guys enjoyed the videos! Goin out tommorow, hopefully we score big, and I get some more good action captured to post!
Thanx!

Kick ass man! I like the helmet cam!!! That might be something to look into for future hobbies...
As for the "O", I loved watching the show about how they had so much trouble getting it in place and sinking it at the exact spot it had to be sank. I would love to dive it one day.

The "O" is a definate must do dive. I just love that I am lucky enough to go when ever I want since it is right here where I live, well, due south in the Gulf!
Just got back from a couple dives today, givin a tour of it to a reporter from the New York Times who came to dive it to do a story on it. Hope the story gets ran.
