Might be making a 4 day trip down for some hardcore shooting/fishing next wk. Any advice on what not to forget?

Learn all you can about dry ice its makes a big difference in keeping ice for any duration. put on top freezes and on bottom cools its a must to keep ice.we always brought one coolers to store ice bags in and only opened it to get ice rest of time was kept in shade covered with towel. I would to extent of buying icetex coolers to keep icein .Water and ice is most important thing out there. Watch weather also.

Dry ice, excellent tip!

Every time I go I bring two of everthing just in case. It would suck to have a bad trip due to fins breaking, lost shaft, bands, blown hose......
I would also make sure you have a pretty good first aid kit with things you may need.

Make sure you know the boundaries of the park & Ecological Reserve. You can't spear there. Especially the park. The rangers are real dicks.

Oh yeah, I always make sure my DAN insurance is current.

watch the currents out there they can be real strong pratice safe diving as far asplan howlong you plan to be down and as we do two up and two down or leave a person on boat who knows the boat all the ins and outs of boat in case they need to get you or call for help. I agree with extra items like bands and equiment just be careful not to over kill on what you bring space is always limited on my boat by the time we put in the water at Garrison bright.
also watch which way winds our you can take nw or sw channel according to winds makes nice untill you get to Rebbecca shoals then its anyones game out there. Rangers do treat it like its wild west out there but after you get on good side their okay . JUST MAKE sure to get on good side there are plenty of stories of fishmen getting snippy with them and they end up with a story behind bars.
