ive got an alexander tricut sliptip,its used but in good condition,its missing an adapter but you can get one form steve.$30 OBO

Is it for a 3/8" shaft and the missing adapter is for use on a 5/16"?

Sorry, I'm not smart enough about slip tips to know if it's something I could use. Please post a picture or a link if you can.

I did some research and I think the adapter you are missing is the center piece in this photo:

I've never used one, so I'm trying to figure it out. Is the adapter larger than the slide ring? If not, what holds the slide ring on the shaft after the tip toggles?

the adapter holds the ring on,i think that the tip can be used with a 5/16 or a 3/8ths shaft but i dont know much about sliptips,are you interested?
