I am looking for some feedback from you guys on an idea I'm working on. I want to cut an address plaque for my house. The shape of the yellowfin tuna is attractive and beefy enough to allow plenty of room for numbers or lettering. Here is a picture of the rough layout on my notebook. It will be about 20" long and cut from 5052 aluminum like the grouper and hogfish projects and hand burnished. I tried making the numbers out of baitfish and hooks but just couldn't make it look better than regular numbers. It gets too hard to read if it is too complicated.
I was thinking that this may be a good way to use some of the scrap from the larger fish I have been cutting. Does anyone have suggestions of other fish or applications for this type of cutout style such as last names, business signs, etc.

Sounds sweet.
Any pics of the other projects?
Do you plan on cutting the little finlets as well or just the basic sillouette of a YF?

The outer shape will be just like the tuna. Here are pictures of my 46" Black grouper and 40" Hogfish.

Grouper address plaque? What size? I was waiting on the gator head requests.

That is a great idea! Can you make my address fit inside the Gator head? My address is 59-20 :2gunsfiring_v1:

Howie,
Can your plasma cutter make this for my home address plaque?

Here is the rough cut address plaque. I made a couple of cuts on the head that I don't like and some mistakes on the bottom part of the numbers, but pretty happy with the first draft. Gotta work on the eye.
