My wife Dana(hogsniperette) just registered. She has never had an interest in SB, but is beginning to love spearfishing. She wants to be more involved with the FRA and FSDA and enjoys helping me with the SPO shirt sales. She shot her first fish earlier this year on her first drop to 100', where she proceeded to bag an amberjack with a head shot. She has sacrificed so much for this sport as I am gone many nights each month at dive related meetings, events, tournaments, etc. When I'm home, I am often on the computer or phone dealing with dive related business, clubs, and tournaments. What does everyone think of the ladies having a seperate room to use?

i believe we had a chat about this on the other forum & decided against it, but that doesn't mean that the outcome has to be the same here. i'm not sure what issues we have to discuss separately from the male side. i suppose it would be less intimidating for new female spearfishers. i know nikki contacted me a lot to help me get into the sport (obviously besides jeff) so it could help new ladies make connections

:cool:Whatever you ladies want. I thought that it might be less intimidating for ladies to chat and not be flamed every post by testosterone. It does not need to be a private room, just a seperate category. I would love to see the ladies start some smack talk for the SPO. We have not had a chick fight yet.:cool:

i'm pretty sure what's going on at the other board qualified as chick fighting even though there weren't chicks.

not really into trash talking other girls...we usually take it too personally & get bitchy
