That's a bloody telephone poll :D How big can a mid handle get? 75, 80"? I'd actually like a bigger gun, at least a 70"...

BTW, where's the Marlin pics, you go yet?

Ha! The camera angle makes the gun look very toothpick-ish, but it has a decent compound taper. As for the marlin, we just got a report from Vanuatu (where I'm going next weekend) of yellowfin tuna at the FADs, with one tuna shot that was chased by a marlin trying to eat it. So it sounds like the bluewater is getting pretty hot with big fish. I'm going crazy waiting for this trip. 7 days to go.
