On the last few outings I have noticed some blood in my mucus when a clear my throat/nose after a dive. Have had a problem with nose bleedss in the winter months when I blow my nose due to sensitive capularies in my nose but never noticed this during the summer. Have been taking a decongestant longer than normal this year due to a summer cold that has been hell to kick completely. Anyone else experience this???

It happens to almost all new divers for a little while. Most peoples noses toughen up/callous up to it after time. It's no big deal.

try taking decongestant the morning and day before a dive and see if that helps. Or Flush you sinus with salt water and get out the junk that my be stuck.

I sometimes hack up a foamy pink lunger when immediatly after diving. I take it as a way of saying I came up too fast, and try to come up slower.

I still get'em.As if I didn't do enough damage to my sinuses early on in life.I use a mild decongestant most days to prevent reverse blocks due to mucus and irritated sinus.

I've taken to using a mentholated German nasal snuff, especially before any physical activity. Snort about a pea-sized pile up each nostril and it'll take care of any issues with your nose. 'Cept it'll drain brown for a little while.

That's what 100days thought too.
Maybe you should clip a tampon in half and ram it up your nose before you go diving. ;)
Those are very nice groupers in your avatar BTW.

Girlfriend has that problem on all deep dives (120ft +). Don't know why, just how it is and she has more deep dives than most people have total dives. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.
She's as healthy as you'd want (even will pull the anchor - in shallow water = poor man's winch /wench)

Keysdivers,Megabeast was kidding me about the # of dives. We dive together alot.I actually have more time at deco stops than most people have in the water. And still need a maxipad at times.Even varying ascent rates didn't help.
