hey well as most of you know im new to spearfishing and ive only been able to do shore dives off the jetties at masonboro inlet. im shooting a beuchat that i love but its long as hell and is very hard to use in the rocks. so im constantly fighting my gun.
ive been looking at smaller pnuematics like the mares mini thinking they may be better suited for my type of diving. >>>??<<< anyone whos fished where i do knows that vis is extremely limited so a long range gun isnt really needed.

any suggestions on good small size pnuematics? any reviews on the mare mini?

I bought a Cressi Star from Jim's Dive Shop. I don't know a lot about pneumatics, but it has killed a bunch of fish!

I've got a Mares Sten 130cm I'd let go of. It does need a new piston though, but AquaKnots in Miami could hook you up with that.

My Cressi 55 is probably good for 8-10 feet. It hits hard because the shaft is pretty hefty, but it is short. I haven't used the other brands, but the cressi really surprised me- so much that I plan on buying another (bigger) one when I come down for the SPO.
