It seems that the 21 year-old who caught the Barry Bonds homer may have a little bill from the IRS.........:eek:

That ball isn't worth squat. Barry is guilty(so they say) about steroid use so therefore he really didn't break the record fairly so therefore the ball ani't worht shit. That would be my excuse to the IRS.

It would also seem to me that the only thing he should be liable for tax wise would be the actual purchase price for the baseball the last time it was purchased. If he sells it now that might be a different story.

I'd tell the IRS to go **** themselves. And if they pushed it I'd give them $1.50, thats 15% of $10. I'd fully countersue. The ball ain't worth shit until its on the market.

I agree. Taxing him now is bullsh*t.

I still think the best sign ever displayed at a major league ball park during Bonds' pursuit of the record was the one that said,
"The Babe did it on hot dogs and beer."
