We need to raise some money for the FRA!! Thanks to Ken Jones we have a custom made Deathstick speargun to raffle off! I will be at Wing House this Wednesday 8:00 PM selling tickets to win a custom Deathstick speargun!!* It's only a $5 donation per ticket and you can purchase as many as you like!
You can also purchase tickets at the World Famous St. Pete Open Friday Aug. 15th, Saturday Aug. 16th, before the ceremony Aug. 17th AND online through PayPal. Just go to and click on the link in the top right corner.

Id suggest a PayPal link that lets you do more than a single $5 ticket at a time, my fingers are getting tired of re doing it for each ticket.....

You guys ever think it might not have been a bad idea to post this over on Spearboard. If you are really serious about raising money for the FRA it never would hurt to put it up there too since you know some people don't cross between the boards that often. JMHO.

Thanks to Big Pig for putting the Deathstik up for raffle. I really cant believe I won again. All for a good cause.
I went to the GMFMC meeting in Key Largo with Denny the other day and rest assured, the assault on fishing rights based on even the flimsiest of "evidence" is going to get much worse. We all need to support the groups that are in there try to get us all a fair shake. Without them we may as well sell the boats and spear gear.

We need to talk. Lindsay promised me she would fix that raffle so that I would win, but like most women in my life, she lied to me. Now I'm looking at paying retail for a gun I don't really need, but think that I really want.

The way I figure it, you've probably got all the Deathsticks you need by now, and I don't have any. We need to come up with a way to balance your surplus with my deficit to the benefit of you, myself and the FRA.

Here's one idea. Let's auction off another hog hunt. Winner gets to come to my ranch and hunt hogs with the luckiest man in gun raffle history, the one and only Ed Walker. I'll match the winning bid (up to $1000) in exchange for a custom Deathstick. Every penny goes straight to the FRA.

If you have no interest in hog hunting, we can work something else out. FRA will definitely need the resources for the battle ahead.
