These bouys are the bomb and Guaranteed for LIFE (weight and line are the exception) They are covered with the same type material they use for bed liners.They are counter balanced so you just toss em and they'll unwind to depth up to a 2' seas and have a keeper to keep line in place for rougher sea's. I just got it and haven't been able to use it yet! It seems real nice and I really like the thought and craftsmanship that obviously went into it. It will never hurt to have a spare.

Finally got to get mine wet today. It works great! One suggestion is if they would switch to white line. The friend's boat I was on wants one now. Looks like I'll have an extra one for him unless people are waiting till the last minute like ebay..:p
