Took the gf into pennekamp park to do some lobstering. It was KILLING me to look at all those big hogfish up there and not being able to :BoomSmilie_anim: them! I saw one that must have been 8 pounds, biggest hog Ive seen since I was in the bahamas 5 years ago. Tried doing the handline thing but the big ones werent too keen on me trying to drop a shrimp on their heads from above. Ive got a couple ideas that may make it easier, Ill report back on that. Almost snatched a huge red grouper from a hole but he managed to slip my grip at the last second. Managed to get 9 spinys and one shovelnose, kinda funny because thats the same exact catch I had last time I was out. Sorry, no pics......didnt really get anything worthy enough.
