How's it looking? From what I see, the gulf is pretty flat with the pressure rising (that's a good thing). Anyone have a long-term forecast for Saturday?

We are in the dog days of summer, where the gulf lays flat for weeks on end. I think it will be fine. The good thing is that their are no active tropical systems. (I hope I did not just jinx it...)

Great job john, time to board up the windows. Why don't you just bring a bunch of bananas on the boat next trip too!

The windguru site is calling for 1 to 6 knots on Saturday, and here's the NOAA picture, 120 hours out:

Nice, I knew that might happen. Now we will get a comment that it is too far away to affect anything and it will speed up,, wooops

NOAA says all blue, all day.
Wind Guru says less than 7 knots, all day.
Time to break out that way-the-hell-out-there waypoint, and carry a fuel bladder!
