Just curious... deepdestroyer 09-13-2008, 06:01 PM I dont own one, but have read a lot about them. They are supposed to be some of the best guns you can possibly buy. I personaly dont think I could justify spending that much money when I have other guns that could easily shoot just as many fish. Also check your PM's Paul Ross 09-13-2008, 06:27 PM I sold the Deathstick to help finance the purchase of a new Seasniper. pedxing 09-16-2008, 12:02 PM I've got a custom one. I like it. The water ballast really sucks up recoil on my shots with it. Tino Bernazzani 09-18-2008, 01:18 PM I have a Pro model and the Reef Pro and they are both fantastic spearguns. All of Chris's guns come complete so the pricing is comparable to other hand made guns out there. The Pro model has the smoothest shot of any big gun I have shot. Its laser like and I love watching the shaft string fish at distance. The Reef Pro is a great gun for fast moving fish or those that just don't like using a 5/16"+ shaft. I have used mine to take yellowtail to 33 lbs and have found that I hit almost everything, when compared to my non tracked euros (which I tended to overpower). Either way, Sea Sniper guns are a good investment. There is a reason that they are sold out in stores and B/O's are a month to two months out. Good luck with your purchase and let us see some pics when you get it. By the way, I do not get any kickbacks from SS. I have to pay full price like all the rest. |
