I can say this is the best riding 22' boat I've been on. She'll get 'er done.

Doug
let me know what you are looking for and I will keep my eyes open. Also, you going to the SPO this week? Looking to pound a few (dozen) at the weigh in.

Yeah, I'll be there this weekend ready for the beer wagon:2gunsfiring_v1:
I am interested in picking up a 23' Seacraft Sceptre, 24' Formula or any similar small cuddy, large cockpit, high deadrise, single engine, semi-project 70s-ish boat. Any other ideas along those lines? Thanks for looking out.

Those two boats are the mack daddy as far as 23-24' cuddy boats. As you know, you are in a good buying market. How much of a project are you looking for? Extensive glass work? RE-Rig only? Paint?

You guys shooting the east coast?

We are shooting the west coast this year.
I would consider anything out there at this point. Re-rig, paint, glasswork, I/O conversion, hard top. Ultimately, I'd like to hang a brand new motor, but will probably throw a Yamaha 250 EFI on to start.

Do you have that EFI or are you going to buy one used?
The reason I ask is that I have a 250 OX66 with a 30 inch shaft that would work great on a boat like that. It's currently on my 23 Seacraft. It has 400 hrs, garage kept and runs like a top.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a 4 stroke and would sell it if a reasonable offer came along. I could sell either just the motor or the motor plus all the rigging, depending what you wanted.
I'm thinking of upgrading to the 300 Suzi or the Yamaha F250.

Sorry, been out of town and just got back to civilization. I have not bought a motor yet, but would need to sell this boat before I could do anything at all. I will keep it in mind though. Thanks.
