Got out today with Nyer and Njspearo.
Freedive 30-85ft
All of us had little hope of decent vis after last weekend and the current weather......we were wrong.

Vis: 60ft blue in the morning, 15ft in the afternoon
Current: None (chum was going straight down.)
Sea: Flat
Temp: maybe it is just me but it is getting a little cooler.

Multiple cuberas and blacks spotted today. Landed a handful of blacks and tore off a bunch of cuberas. Njspearo shot a 35+lb black, I witnessed it, to bad the black ran under a ledge, pretzeled his shaft and was gone.

I believe the cubera's are spawning now, have never seen as many free swimming as I did today.

Guys remember that this weekend is the Johnnylongblades Tourney in Key West. Tourney is to celebrate the memory of John Lumley a dear friend to many. Hope to see a bunch of you there.

Right now I have not put together a crew for the tourney so if anyone has room on their boat for one :rolleyes:(freedive or scuba) or want to take my boat shoot me a pm or respond on the thread.:beer:

Ill see if my wife will let me off the leash, new born in all it will be a long shot. All she can say is f*ck no you stupid SOB :)

Thanks for the report and Pics Keyskiller, I hope to meet you and Njspero one day. I'm headed down this weekend to Key Largo (Penne Camp). Maybe I will get lucky with some bugs and a few fish (hook & Line).
