Well I took everyones advice about getting a Hawaiian Flopper style shaft for my new speargun......so Prater finds a good price on a shaft thatwill fit my gun at Diver's Supply in Macon. It's a nice single flopper with 2 shark fins, 55" in length for $19.99. So he grabs it for me and asks the clerk if they have any more tucked away for that price, must be on clearance, right? No....the clerk says that is the normal price on them, but that's the only one they have in stock. So when he finally gets it to me a few days later, I was really impressed, it was a nice looking shaft for only $20! So I call Divers Supply, and tell them the numbers on the sticker and they pull it up....$19.99....so I order two more of them. Well, they showed up today, and were definately NOT the shafts I was thinking I was going to get. These were the biggest POS's I've ever seen. Felt like they were made out of recycled soda cans, and the "tips" looked as if they were gnawed out by angry beavers. Appearantly, the original shaft Prater got me was mis-labeled, and they were giving me a hassle about returning them since "we sent you the shafts you ordered". Needless to say, I was angry, and didn't get off the phone till I got a full refund and return shipping paid for. I wouldn't have even spent $5 on these crappy shafts!
My gun and the bottom shaft is the one Prater got me, and the top two are the ones I ordered....I think they're Hawaiin Sling shafts since there are no band notches/fins or trigger groove.

Here's a closer view of the tips....notice one of the floppers has already fallen off!
