Participants must be in weigh-in line with their catch before 7:30pm.
Sunday August 19th:
Awards Ceremony 10am - 2pm
hogsniper 08-13-2007, 10:51 PM A member of each team is REQUIRED to be at the Friday night's captain's meeting to check the boat in, this also applies to pre-registered teams. Team mate's last minute registrations can be brought by the team member in attendance, but all forms must be properly completed and waivers signed by the appropriate shooter.
Parking will be limited to cars and trucks without boats at the resort. You can pull up to drop your coolers, but trailers must be parked at Maximo Park where the hotel shuttle will be running to every few minutes. No large coolers or gear on the shuttle. Once again, no outside booze at the resort. If you are competing, be prepared to transport your cooler approximately 100 yards from the event parking area to the weigh-in line. Please bring your own dolly or cart for your coolers.

We are working on having a golf cart/trailer, but be prepared to move your own coolers.
hogsniper 08-13-2007, 11:23 PM This year's long sleeve Shooter shirts are done in crimson with white sponsor logos. They look great and are being sorted in shooter bags with other goodies for the captain's meeting.
jeepshapes 08-13-2007, 11:27 PM shirt looks great. i see you like your underarm smell:)
hogsniper 08-13-2007, 11:51 PM Please don't forget to thank and support those that have donated time, money, and prizes for this year's St. Pete Open. Remember our sponsors when it comes time to do business. All shooters will be provided a sponsor directory in thier shooter bag.
hogsniper 08-14-2007, 08:35 AM I also wanted to thank nsearch for his prize donation, he is not an official sponsor and is not promoting a business. He has custom made a beautiful stained glass hogfish.

Great Avatar. That is the first weigh-in line I have seen you in. The fish you are holding looks a little small to me, but maybe a special size limit was instituted for you. I have heard of micro-bubbles, but micro fish??????????:lol:

Raoul Duke 08-14-2007, 10:00 AM Did any of you sniveling minnow-sniffers mention that the only way to get one of these shirts is to enter the tournament?
I tried to buy one last year and I couldn't. I was turned away by some tiny woman with huge breasts that told me I had to get signed up and they would give me one for free, but they wouldn't accept my money. I tried to bribe her with a few mescaline caps and some dried-out peyote, but she wouldn't budge.
Must have been some type of republican nazi-feminist or something, but she was clear about the deal...
Enter, Get Cool Shirt, Shoot Fish, WIN STUFF.
Enough

hogsniper 08-14-2007, 06:45 PM Did I happen to mention that you can't buy these shirts, they are for Shooters and sponsors only. Ok, we will sell them for $85, but you get free entry in the SPO, a bunch of mystery tickets, and alot of cool stuff in your shooter bag along with that. Regular logo shirts can be purchased here. http://www.spearfishingspuc.org/SPO_2007/SPO_2007_Tournament_Shirts.html
