Ever since I built the first gun that was supposed to slightly resemble a hybrid, many of my friends have been wanting them. Here is the third version I have completed. The teak used in this gun was brought back from Costa Rica and was purchased for 3 dollars. Special thanks to Chad and Jeff for sharing the shapelock idea...REALLY cool stuff!
Also next to the gun is the newly laminated Cumaru stock that has special plans awaiting it!

Hint...it will be somebody's x-mass present, I don't know who's though.

Yep neptonics, and the gun is 1.75 inches wide. Its owner is going to use it for natural bottom, scuba shooting.

Good looking stuff there. I have been wondering how well the Shapelock holds up under saltwater conditions. Have you tried it yet? How about it's bouyancy?

Welcome to the board tlong, I have no clue about how well the shapelock holds up yet, this gun is the first I have used it on. The person to ask would be Griswold. He has used it on a bunch of guns and has done a bunch of testing with it. Are you in the middle of a build?

Alright, I'll check with Gris. I am getting all the 411 I can, before I build and then I'm going to give it a go. I have been thinking about it for some time now, and I'm getting close to getting started.
