Got out today with Nyer and Cat.
Freedive only 30ft-65ft
Vis: 80+ (clean blue)
Current: NW -+1kt
Wind: 10kt-20kt
Bag:
Black
Mutton
Hog
Yellow Jack
Cero
Werid day, wind would go from 10kts to 20kts and then come back down again, also poured down rain on us for half the day. Chummed up some good fish and only had one good sized bull shark come in all day.
At one point I was drifting over some rocks and looked down to see what looked like a pole spear standing on its tip. Dove down and brought up a really nice gaff. We find anchors and other junk all the time, this was a first though.
I shot a good keys hog today, not like one from NC, but good for the South.
All in all great day with some great spearfisherman and women.
Cat got some good underwater pics also, Iam sure she will post them shortly.
