I went for a quick dive with Sebastien yesterday evening. Just as others have reported the past week, it was low swell and low vis. Both of us wanted to try out our new guns. Unfortunately, the fish didn't want to comply. The water was very murky with lots of dead vegetation floating around. It got a little clearer near the bottom. There was nothing worth shooting, except for a large goat. I was mainly hoping to stumble upon a WSB. I saw a small school of baby WSB, but none of the parents were around. The water was fairly warm, although it got much cooler in patches. Does anyone know what the water temp is in PV right now? I'm going to the Scramble Meet this Saturday and would like to be able to go diving using a 7mm vest and rashguard, as long as the water temp is above 68 degrees.
