My generic swim platforms had become pitifully rickety, so surfing on line I found the Heavy Duty all Aluminum dive platforms from Action Welding in Cape Coral. I had them fabricated as big as possible 24X20 and with their rail design the dive never has to take his hands off the rails till hes in the boat. I had my teak riser pads put on the ladder which makes it super easy on the feet. Towed Scarad cc from Frederick, Md to Cape Coral for the work. Visited v/Dago for an evening and headed to Key West for 2 weeks . It was great seeing Dago's machine tools and dive gear fabrication. Super interesting stuff. Made the the tow trip much more fun meeting Dago. pix of the aluminum Dive platforms. Wade

If you dont mind sharing the cost of the platform. I may have one built for the Formula.

I also stop by and see Dago when I am down that way. Just saw him a couple weeks ago.

They have a website w/ pics of their work www.actionweld.com . The fabricated and installed price of the platform $385. They held their internet Quote, kept the prearranged appointment for the install, and did a great job. I was pleased. Ladder installed was less than west marine price for 4 step ladder alone.

I can testify that this ladder looks great & dives like a dream. A great upgrade for the Scarab!!

I swear, you must have the only remaining OMC SeaDrives still in existence! I have not seen those motors in years.
