Attention Bikini Clad Female Spearos!!

As most of you probably know, the Fishing Rights Alliance is the lead organization that protects our rights as spearos and fights for fair fishing regulations in Florida. The FRA keeps the public aware of pending regulations and informs members of all fishing issues. Without all of our support, it’s likely that the sport that we love will be threatened.

I’m head of a committee charged with designing, creating, and promoting a spearfishing bikini calendar which will be called “The FRA Angels - 2008.” The calendar will be promoted and sold locally and nationally. The calendar will be sold with all proceeds going to benefit the FRA. Our goal is to have the calendar ready for sale and distribution by December 2007.

The committee has been working behind the scenes for months, and now we only have TWO SPOTS LEFT for female spearos to submit photos to be printed in the first annual FRA Angels calendar! Our goal is to produce a REAL spearfishing calendar with 12 REAL women hunters with REAL guns. We want the pictures to be tasteful, classy and sexy – think Sports Illustrated. If you’d like to submit a photo to the committee for consideration to be printed in the first annual FRA Angels Calendar, please send your photos to lrollins@cigfl.com. (If the photos are posted here, they won’t be considered for print! We’ve got to have SOME secrets!!)

Some points to keep in mind:

Poses should be outdoors; preferably in a tropical or marine setting
Speargun and/or fish is a must
Bikini is a must
Have fun!
(Guys, please don’t put your gun in your girls’ hand and take pictures of her for submission. We need REAL hunters, please!)

Our committee will be voting on all submissions the first week of October so hurry -- There’s not much time left! While not everyone will be able to be printed in this year’s calendar, there’s always next year!
