Default FRA Auction: Custom Deathstick Speargun

Here are teaser pictures of a sweet new custom Deathstick that will be raffled off in two weeks to raise money for the FRA. The winning ticket will be drawn at the conclusion of the 2011 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge, April 10th.

Raffle tickets will be sold starting at the TBSC Kick-Off party (March 30, 7:30pm at Pinellas Park Winghouse), the TBSC/Performance Freediving Workshop (April 6, at Aquatic Obsessions, 7:30pm) , the TBSC Captain's meetings (Two Locations, April 8) and the TBSC weigh-in at Pinellas Park Winghouse (April 10) with the winning ticket drawn at the conclusion of the TBSC Awards ceremony April 10th. The tickets are 1 for $10, 3 for $20, or 10 for $50. In addition to the Deathstick, your raffle tickets will also give you a chance at two mystery prizes to be unveiled at the Kick-off party tommorrow night!

A Huge thanks to Ken Jones for your ongoing support of the FRA and our fishing rights!

I was waiting to see the paint job Ken was going to put on the gun. That is one sick looking gun. I will surely donate to the FRA, especially if I have a chance at this "deathstick".

    Very nice!!!

In order to win do you have to be present when the winning ticket will be drawn at the conclusion of the 2011 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge?

Good question, Bryan- you do not have to be present to win if your full name and contact information are on the winning raffle ticket.

Ken, thanks again for donating this amazing custom gun to the FRA raffle! I have grown attached to it and will definitely buy tickets. This 55 Rear handle gun would be a great win so dig deep and buy your tickets tomorrow night at the wing house kick off party!

Yet another kick ass deathstick by ken. good luck to all who participate in the raffle.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely,
in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in side ways,
totally worn out, yelling... "That was a hell of a ride!!!"

    Guys

I really wanted to attend the kick off party but my real job is keeping me out of town. Buck up and buy some raffle tickets to support the FRA. If a black & silver freeshaft gun doesn't do it for you, I will let the winner trade in the gun for retail value ($780) toward any other Deathstick of their choosing.

BTW The pics don't do this gun justice. The silver really pops on that black backround

For those of you out of town that will not be able to attend any of the events, you may still participate and donate to the FRA. You can buy raffle tickets through Aquatic Obsessions in St. Pete FL by mailing a check made out to the FRA and send it to the shop. We will fill out your tickets and mail them back to you before the event since you do not have to be present to win. The address is 6193 Central Avenue St. Petersburg, FL 33710 and their phone number is 727-344-3483. Thanks for supporting the FRA and best of luck winning the gun. Ken is right that the pictures do not do the gun justice. For those of you in town come by the Wing House tonight to see it in person or buy tickets at the Sunday weigh in for the tournament.

These deathsticks are AMAZING guns. They are not only lazer beam accurate, but they are easy to fix. Although nothing has ever gone wrong with my gun, I've added a few accessories since I got it. Modifications only take a 5 minute drive and a 12 pack.

My only question, is this a "poser" gun or not? The paint job makes me think yes, the freeshafting makes me think no, I'm so confused.

Definite "poser" gun with that killer paint job since it will not kill any more fish but it certainly has gotten huge attention with people buying raffle tickets. These are amazing guns so make sure you bring a few extra bucks to the captains meeting and or weigh in Sunday. One ticket for $10, three for $20 or 10 for $50. Denny is allowing credit card orders through his website and will communicate with us so we fill out tickets. Thanks in advance for the support from everyone since Denny and the FRA will never back down for our rights!

Vince, I stand corrected since you will shoot more fish because of the black and silver camo on your new Deathstick and look good in the process! Lindsey is finding you at the Captains meeting to buy tickets so dig deep. Your gun needs a twin so best of luck!

Well if we weren't sure before, I think the issue has been settled by the person who won the gun.

Have you ever seen such a pose?

Congrats Pat, after all you do for all of our tournaments, you deserve to shoot a nice gun.

Now the trick will be to keep it away from Ed.

I'm surprised there isn't a beanbag in that picture.
