Default 30-30 Powerhead w/case

I guess something good came out of looking in the old dive closet.....found something else to donate to the cause. This is a powerhead in 30-30 caliber. It has a carrying case which can be strapped to your gun for easy access. It comes with adapters that will allow you to fasten it to different diameter shafts. The carrying pouch has a small slot for carrying these adapters as well. The safety is the ring underneath the case that encompasses the firing pin. Tight up against the bottom it is safe....a quick turn or two and it is ready for action. All surfaces that screw and unscrew are scored to give you better grip even with a gloved hand. This unit is meant to last....it has been with me almost ten years and I am sure it would last many many more. The 30-30 caliber has devastating results without being too much to handle. Here are a few pics...

Emil,
You should learn to use that thing when you are diving with "Los Tiburons"

I know GR but I have decided to let the sharks have their way with me. The last one nearly f@cked me (figuratively and almost literally) but I guess I deserve it for the way I had no quarter for them when I was a teenager. I have harvested (H&L) more than my share....now they come for their tax and unless a false charge from me scares them they get what they want. I guess my heart (or my head) is softening with maturity.

This thing has sat unused in my closet for nearly 8 of the ten years I have owned it and even when it made it out in my dive bag it rarely saw any water time. If it will do someone else some good and help the FRA then I think it is better than what it is doing now..which is nothing. Maybe some less than lethal deterrent is more my style....Jason is a big fan of your shark dart method....I guess I might have to get rid of some of my bent shafts that way as well....you can only make so many stringers and the dive closet needs a good clean up.

BTW if you have the time...and desire..you should come dive on us some time....We have some spots that are begging to be explored but are out of the reaches of mere mortals like me. I am curious to see what sort of sea monsters you and the deep dive crew can fetch for us to drool over. Take care..E
