Default Figure this one out.. I cant!!!!!!

Well, with the windy weather I decided to do some Prev. maintance.. lower unit oil change.. spark plugs.. all was going well.. then I decided to change out my water pumps.. here is where the tough question comes into place.. I unbolted my starboard lower unit.. all was fine.. then I unbolted the housing to the water pump.. and low and behold.. THERE WAS TWO TREE FROGS INSIDE THE CASING.. now how.. and I mean HOW DID THEY GET INTO THAT SMALL CONFINED SPACE near the shifter nipple on a yamaha??? just unreal.. I have not been boating for a month due to weather on weekends.. so they had to get in there within that time space.. and they dont fit between the intake ribs of the lower unit intake.. they were too big...im lost.. but glad I found them.. they could have clogged off the intake to the water pump and caused lots of problems...

Were they both between the blades of the (inlet/outlet?) rubber water pump?

If your boat was not a big flower pot you might not have frogs in the motor

on another post they said maybe they were tadpoles and grew in there.. I believe that makes sense.. and I believe they grow on their own fatty tissues.. these guys were about half as big as a adult, but no way could they fit thru any rib in the lower unit..spearjunkie..that planter has carried your carcus offshore many miles.. crazy fool..
