The South Florida Freedivers will host the First Annual "Art Pinder Int'l Spearfishing Championship" on Memorial Day weekend (May 30th) immediately following the Blue Wild Expo in Fort Lauderdale. This spearfishing competition will take place in the Bahia Cabana Resort in Fort Lauderdale and is to benefit the Twin Palms Center for the Disabled (Boca Raton Society For The Disabled Inc.). This event is open to free divers only. Current California Department of Fishing Game laws apply. Donation Fee's are $30 if preregistered and $40 day of event. To receive a free shirt you must preregister. The pre registration for the free shirt will end on 7-1-11 after that you will have to purchase your shirt at the event.

Tallahassee's first ever spearfishing tournament will be held on Friday, Sept. 30th and Saturday, October 1st. The weigh in will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2nd, in Tallahassee at Cabo's Island Grille from 11am to 2pm. The awards ceremony and after party will last long thereafter!
