A friend of mine just opened a new restaurant in Palm Harbor. Its a fast casual seafood smokehouse. They've got smoked whole mullet, smoked fish spread, smoked Wahoo fish tacos...
My favorites are the shrimp tacos and the shrimp queso dip with chips. I figured with the weather this weekend, I'll be definitely swinging by there. Its at the south end of the Fountains Plaza, west side of US 19N between Tampa Rd and Alderman. Here's the website with menu: Seafood Restaurants Palm Harbor | Clearwater | UGIES Smokin' Good Seafood |

Thanks for the heads up. Drove by it the other day. It's right by the Palm Harbor Winghouse. I think it's where the old Country Pizza Inn used to be.
Definitely need to stop in!

Will they smoke your catch for you?

I'm not sure on that, I doubt it.

Ive heard of places down in St Pete that would smoke AJ's for you then take half the meat. Not quite sure where though.

If you're in Palm Harbor, I believe Smokin Out up in Holiday will smoke your catch. I'll ask to confirm. They are just south of Moog Rd on US 19, West side.
Good people, great food. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just answering the question!!

Went to Ugies last weekend, going again tonight. Pretty good, shrimp queso was great.

Yes I've heard that the shrimp tacos are real good. I'm going to try them next time. Has anybody tried the fish tacos at the Dunedin Brewery?

Ate at Ugies today for lunch.
Great. Had the shrimp tacos. 3 for $5.99 is a great deal. Smoked fish spread was very good also. |
