Special congrats to Ed Walker for being the only diver to turn in 5 x 13 inch Grunts. Grunts are quickly earning the respect of the spearfishing community here on the West Coast of Florida.
The number of the day was 12.5.... Anybody that shot in the tournament knows this number well.

I think we've set up Ed's boat for gags. They're going to see his boat coming and flock to it waiting for their grunts. They'll be like Key's cuda on yellowtail fishing boats.

The Red Tide guys definitely earned it. With the execption of the cobia, I dint see any special fish running up the numbers, just a fat stack of regular fish pound by pound adding up to over 200. That was no easy task yesterday and my hat is off to them and the Spetton Team for being able to score that many points with that point structure.
Even the Grunt Wisperer could not hang, but even though I was sick all day, I did finish ahead of Weible and hope to be posting a photo of him handing me the $50 bill he was certain he'd be getting from me by the end of the day.

Good job everyone and it sounds like a fun time for all that participated. Congratulations to the top three teams, who I assume, will be heading to Nationals to represent the FSDA contingent. (Good Luck at Nationals).

Big thank you to GR and Ritchie for all thier work and success with this important Freedive tournament.

Great event and performance
The stringers were exceptional this year even without grouper.

Thank you GR and Ritchie, great event as always!!

Speaking of not missing any meals....you might want to lay off the mac & cheese with lobster menu and get on Malena's workout regiment there buddy. Between her losing weight and your obvious umm....gaining, you guys appear to have struck the right balance!!

A great time as always. Thanks to GR and Ritchie for the hard work. Thanks to Red Tide for keeping the title on the "Red" neck side of the state. Running with Scissors will be back in full effect next year. There was an obvious link between the top three teams. We didn't have it but we will next year!

Ok, I'll give you that one but at least I have a good reason for my weight gain. Totally f#*k your shoulder up and have to let it heal for a little over 5 months. Trust me it so sucks to be it the bomb shape to have it slip away so fast. Don't worry I'll be back!! What is your excuse????
