Exclamation ***SPO RULE CHANGE***

Due to some recent confusion over Rule "O" (see attached rules) we have revised the current rule.

Current rule states:

Quote:
O. All contestants must be present at the registration, unless they Advance Register. If they Advance Register, his/her yellow copy of the Advance Registration Form OR his/her Advance Registration Confirmation number must be presented by himself or one of the registered and paid members of his/her boat who is attending the Captain’s Meeting. There will be no reimbursements for the tournament fees once paid by the participant. Sorry, No Exceptions.
Revision:
Quote:
A paid member of your team may bring to the Captain's Meeting your properly completed registation and waiver forms along with your payment and register you to shoot the tournament. There will be no reimbursements for the tournament fees once paid by the participant.Any incomplete forms will not be excepted, no exceptions.
Example: Team No Chance has four shooters. None of them pre-registered. Shooter Smith can attend the Captain's Meeting register himself and turn in the properly completed registation and waiver forms along with the payments for the other 3 members of his team to fully regsiter the entire team.

Attached are the registration and waiver forms. They are only located here and not on the St. Pete Open website.

Dumb question, but if I read this right I need to have the confirmation numbers of everyone preregistered on my boat (not just names) if I am going to the captain's meeting?

No, just come to the meeting with the names of anyone already pre-registered on your team and the paperwork/payment for anyone on your team that has not already registered. One shooter from each team can check the whole team in. You will be given thier shooter bags, mystery tickets, and shooter shirts.

Just to clarify the above, there are no confirmation numbers for pre-registrations.

You get your parking pass from the hotel when you check in. Last year I brought the email confirmation of my reservation for Saturday night to the Friday night captains meeting and they gave me a parking pass for the next day so that I didn't have to mess with it when I was trying to get my fish in line at the weigh in during the usual parking lot chaos that ensues. That way I didn't have to worry about checking in until after my fish were weighed.
