Here here! A job job Howie.
I know you have only been in the St. Pete Underwater Club for a few years and that you were kind of thrown into a position that you may not have been 100 percent ready for.
Its going to take some time for the events of this year to sink in but I want you to realize that you have just joined a very small fraternity of individuals who have managed the most unmanageable bunch of people I have the privilege to call friends.
And, you have successfully run the largest spearfishing tournament/party in the world!
You have worked your tail off all year and I’m confident I speak for everyone in the St. Pete Underwater Club when I say thank you and well done!

Ditto Howie,Thanks for yet another Great SPO. Great thanks to Chris for finding me a ride last minute. Special Thank You to Teresa from Jim's Dive Shop
For The Ride. Great People Great time. Ty's got a killer ride. 4-6 all day.
But it pretty much plowed through it all day, At least 100 SF of deck space & that was just in the Stern. Still another double that forward.
Life Begins one breath at a time.
me and team Dive Odyssea had a great time. we're already looking forward to next year. great job Howie!
Way to go Howie.
Great job Howie!! Hell of a party as always.
Howie is very dedicated. Myself and a couple of other die hard insomniacs were still up drinking this morning at 5:30 a.m. when Howie appears and starts cleaning up the weigh in area and getting ready for the awards presentation. He maybe had an hour of sleep but was right back at work. I will say the sunrise on the bay is pretty nice.
Good job Howie!
In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot. ~Mark Twain
Great job Howie! Count us in again for next year.
Warning: If it is not spearfishing related and positive in nature then keep your stupid ass away from my threads!
Congrats Howie (and all the SPUCS) on another incredible tournament. There is a tremendous amount of responsibility that comes along with serving as president of the SPUCS and overseeing the SPO can be a daunting task. Anyone who takes on that responsibility has my respect!
You did a great job Howie

Thanks everyone, I'm glad we avoided a couple of close calls with sinking boats and missing teams. No one was injured, everyone had a blast, and we all got to see some big fish and party all night. That is a success in my book and it was all worth it to see the look on Dan Curran's face when he recieved the Deathstick from his fellow Spucs. There was an amazing energy in the room, even the photographer had tears running down her face!
Thanks to all of our awesome sponsors, participants, and volunteers for another wonderful event.
