JBL Speargun for FRA Raffle
Just in time for the Southern Open Kickoff Party, JBL Spearguns and the Florida Skin Divers Association (FSDA) has donated the new JBL Woody Magnum with the M7 trigger. Money raised from the raffle of the gun will be donated to the FRA. Tickets for the raffle are $5 each or 3 tickets for $10. Drawing for the gun will be held at the Southern Open weigh-in on June 21, 2009.

Gun looks freakin awesome and it's built to handle any power setup. Thanks again to Guy Skinner and Doug Windish of JBL for stepping up and supporting Florida events and the "diver's rights" advocates of the FRA.
OK now everyone, buy some tickets and support Denny and his fighters of the FRA as they fight for your right to make a speartrip trip worth your time and effort.

Wow! That's a sweet looking gun! What's MSRP on that? I was looking on JBL's website and it's not even listed yet. Is it a top-secret new model?

The new guns are fresh off the assembly line. I received the first shipment yesterday. If you drive really fast, you could make it from North Carolina to tonight's kick-off party at the Winghouse.

Great job making everything run smooth at the party. Thanks to Howie and the SPUCs for donating $200 worth of Beer and the FSDA for donating $300 worth of suds too. The Gulfcoast Underwater club, under Teresa and Malena's direction, and Michelle's quiet personality (ha ha) did great, selling shirts and FRA raffle tickets. TBSC's Andrew and Big Dog kept the Early Registrations going and it was great to see so many divers ready to dive the Southern Open next week.
Remember the deadline for Early Registration is postmarked or dropped off at Aquatic Obsessions by this Friday. After that it will be normal registration up until the Regular Registration/Captian's meeting on June 19th at Gators. See Ya gators
