Default Northeast Gulf 3-19-10 Commercial Kill Spike

i really wish i would've brought the video camera on this commercial fishing trip. there were a few spots in particular that were loaded with more mangrove snapper than i've ever seen. the kill package that Spear One has on his new gun enabled me to take full advantage of the fish that were trying to hide under ledges.

i brought Island Pressure along to help fill the boxes. we had a great time and i look forward to our next trip.

The killspike/Flashlight holder/Bayonet rules. It's an awesome feeling pinning an unshot perfectly healthy fish to the back of a cave and completing the harvest. Sometimes you even get lucky enough to stone one, but that's rare for me.

having a spike on the front of a gun is such a great thing...not only for the clear advantages of shark defense and accesory mounting, but, as you mentioned, for fish retreival...the first time i used the muzzle spike on my RA was just as you said....a poorly shot fish, a hog, spun off the spear and was dazed , about to take off and THWAK! pinned to the sand

the spike on your gun looks about two inches longer than on mine, do you ever find it in the way? cant imagine it would be an issue.

nice fish and great report, thanks for sharing
