Default Jacks or Better: the Rare AJ

https://www.facebook.com/video/video...92985773&saved

Before you clowns comment, second shot was to add dramer to the video. Normally don't need 2nd shaft for 30# AJ.

Shame there aren't any AJ out there for us to shoot and so they have to keep us from taking any home.

Probably have a new rule soon that prohibits photographing more than one AJ per trip.

Any of you tree huggers looking at this, it takes years of work before a diver can dive among these fish and not spook and scatter them. If a diver appears threatening or predatory, they will be gone in an instant. If you stare at them for more than an instant, they will be gone.

Cant see the video but those AJ are hard to kill. Freeshafted one yesterday just behind the eye and he swam off, second shaft a few inches farther back and hes slower but still making way. Then a few bulls joined the party and I had no shafts left soooo I followed him for a bit then my natural self preservation instincts go the better of me and I decided to let the sharks have him and my two shafts. A sorry tale but true.

now to why I had to free shaft him. My dive buddy for the day (not hunting)was holding the stringer and following me or so I thought. I shot a big mango and couldn't find him, he got distracted with some goliaths so i had to take off my line and use it for a stringer.
