Well, it is time to see if some good karma will come back to me. My 35' Island Runner center console was stolen today, 6/28/12, sometime during the night or early morning. She was taken from my lot in Hudson, FL and was on the triple axle aluminum trailer that is in the photos. I am enclosing recent pics and will add that she had a dark blue full cover on her. She also had 225Mercury Optimax's on the back of which I had removed the stickers so they are all black. The hull is fighting lady yellow, just waxed, and if the name has been taken off you should be able to see the outline in brighter yellow due to it being on the hull for over 8 years. Please be on the look out and call the authorities if you see her, then me at 813-918-7688. Thanks, Scott

About 10 years ago, Blake Gaylord posted something like this and I actually had seen his boat the prior day. I called Blake and his father and they called the authorities and the boat was recovered without a single bit of damage or anything missing. SOOOOO, I am hoping maybe I will get lucky. Thanks

Sorry to hear this Scott, bad things like this always happen to good people for some reason.

Should not be hard to spot! Where the cops able to give any intel on this? Any similar theft in the area? 5 years ago I had a 16' enclosed trailer full of dirt bikes and quads stolen in Tarpon. The Tarpon PD had no clue. When I called the Pinellas SO they were tracking a string of stolen enclosed trailers. These guys were just blindly stealing trailers. They got everything from construction equipment to race cars and even a small hellicopter. We never recovered anything. The thought was most of the items were exported. You may have to do some of your own digging with other agencies to get the low down if there is one. I am in the market for a used trailer. I have been spending a lot of time riding around back roads and storage lots looking for a good deal on one. I will keep a close eye out for anything. Your trailer is pretty unique. I will keep in mind that they may already be separated. Good idea posting. Carma does work!

Good luck with finding that nice boat, hope it's recovered fast without any damage or miising equip. Then lets take those fuckers on a oneway spearfishing trip!

Ouch...That really Sucks! Sorry to hear that Scott. I'll put the word out and maybe we'll get lucky. Just can't imagine someone doing that. I mean, what do you tell the cops when they pull you over (you can't exactly run) about why your towing someone's stolen boat? I've had many things stolen in the past, one of the worst being a 14yd. custom dump trailer. I just hate those kinds of people. Wish they cut off hands for stealing like they did in some countries. Maybe that would have people thinking twice before they took something that doesn't belong to them!

How bout the VMS? Powered down?

Could you tell us what kinda security you had on your trailer? Any wheel locks or just a lock in the front of hitch?
