I want to take a charter to the MG in about 6 weeks or later. Can you expereinced guys give me some pointers? when is the best time to go season wise (certain fish are their..etc). Does the visilibty vary out there like it does closer to shore?

I am thinking about taking the Jolly Rogers II. Any other suggestions?

I'm open to all advice, I havent been out past 100 feet depth. Dive nitrox. Thanks guys!

Edit: there will be 3 divers and 2 (our wives as fishers) Was looking at the JRII 3 days 2 nights trip.

The Jolly Rogers II is no longer running charters. I am not aware of anybody who is running multiday Middlegrounds charters anymore.

Ah man, that sucks. I'll checkout the ultimate getaway. Anyone know the cost of it? Any experiences?

Who else does just a single day to the MG? I've just heard so much about it that I want to go. Heck, I want to go anywhere where there is good spearfishing. I have a boat but I can only go 20-25 miles out in it. I want to get in on some of those big fish!

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I saw where Panama City Dive Charters (Pat Green) going on ultimate getaway aug. 17-20 with open slots for $875 (with nitrox). Check out there website. Click on dive trips and look at their calendar. Hope you find what your lookin for and good luck. Post trip report.
