Did a commerical trip on the Miss Jackie this weekend with BottomDweller, Salty Slayer and El Tiegro. The conditions were just aboout perfect the entire trip. Water was pretty clear and the temp was running 76 to 77 on the bottom. Got lots of fish considering there was no bait to be seen.
On sunday were working an area that was holding lots of yellowfin groupers. We saw a total of 7 for the day but were only able to put 3 in the boat. Dean and myself each saw a solid 35 to 40 lber but just couldn't get to them before they buried deep into there homes. Next time boys. Next time. The others were still respectable fish.


Here is myself with a 23.5 lber that someone had high shot before and it healed up and Dean with a nice one.

Before we left on friday Anthony was telling us that sunday was his birthday and he just wanted to go diving and shoot some fish.

Anthony got his first yellowmouth on one dive and the next dive he got another yellowmouth and his first yellowfin and a really nice hog.

Happy birthday dude.

On the way in the sunset was just awesome except the captain in it. Scott was ashamed that the only pic of him was on the back of the boat and hid his face behind his shorts.

Thanks for a fun trip guys, that last drop definitely made for a nice finish. Beautiful weekend weather and some good shooting was all I wanted for my 30th, and Scott delivered.

Enjoyed having you on the boat Anthony! Sorry I didn't put you on more fish. That was about the nicest two days of weather I have seen in a while. A little rain for half a day Sunday, but no big deal.
