Staying on summerland key on cudjoe bay for the month. Put the boat in today and the Vis looked like shit. Couldn't see anything in 6 feet of water. Anyone else have reports from anywhere around or have an idea when it will clear up? I'm looking for somewhere to bottom fish for mangos and grouper until it clears up, anyone have recommendations on where? I have only a 17 foot skiff with a 70 horse so I can't go out too far if the wind isn't cooperative... Thanks for the help! Also, back home we just use sardines, I'm assuming the same?

I spear off of cudjoe key. The barracudas, sawyer key, and anywhere in the mangrove islands you can find 8-12 feet minimum in the tidal creeks will have fish. American shoals is doable off atlantic side of cudjoe if you have calm seas.
