This question gets asked alot but the threads are old...

Does anyone know of a anyone offering this training for beginners on anywhere around Houston?

Performance is in fl, ca, NC, and hawaii. Nothing in tx.

I was about to open a new post to introduce myself and ask for some advice about free diving and spearfishing courses in or close to Houston, TX , when I found this topic, so I just didn't opened a new one for the same question.

Anyway, I'm a bit sad to hear that there's nothing to choose from. Maybe I could find some books from where to learn the basics. Any recommendations on how/where to start it would be appreciated. If I won't find any courses I guess I'll just have to start it myself, and when I'll be comfortable with free diving, I'll move on to spearfishing.
