    Hey jon,
Welcome to the world of spearfishing. I might have a buddie up there that you can hook up with, he comes down here every year to fish with me. His name is lyle and he has a place in salida and is an advid spearo. ill get back to you on that. Colorado is cold look into getting a 5mm wetsuit with the works. camoflauge isnt a big deal there as the water vis isnt the greatest. I would also look into getting a ceaper wetsuit if this is going to be your first one as you are going to learn how to take care of your second one. lol where are you going to be hunting? Lakes, or Res? make sure that you keep you options open before you make a buy on a sling as you might be able to find a cheap gun as well that might be a little more efficiant. if you need help with something else let me know.

skip the sling, unless you figure a way to line-shaft with it.
