Default Where to purchase Intova Products?

I want to see and purchase a couple of the Intova torches in person. Does anyone know of a LDS from Spring Hill to Clearwater that carries the Intova products?

I believe the following stores have the Intova lights in stock:
EZ Scuba in Tampa.......813-887-5712
Bill Jackson's in Pinellas Park......727-576-4169
Suncoast Dive Center in Seminole......727-320-0201

BTW.....we now have a "Spike Light Adapter" for the Intova concentrated beam torch light. The adapter attaches to the light with 3 cable ties and you then slide the adapter onto the Ocean Rhino muzzle kill spike.
http://www.oceanrhino.com/speargun_p...cessories.html The stores listed above also have the Spike Light adapters in stock.

Intova makes several models but I prefer the new version that has the push button switch in the rear end of the light and uses 3 standard AAA batteries. The light has three settings........ a high beam, low beam, and a strobe function.

When we were designing the muzzle for the new Ocean Rhino gun, Dan McMahon & Ricky Hampton from Team HeadHunter expressed their desire to have a kill spike option built right into the muzzle. They said the kill spike offers advantages on its own but having that light right on the end of the gun when you are digging under a wreck or ledge is a HUGE advantage. Fishkilla has been using the new Spike Light adapter on his Ocean Rhino gun for most of the 2009 season and he told me it makes a big difference, especially on those deep undercut ledges on the East Coast.

Divers Supply have them in Tampa. I have one of the lights with the push button on the end and it flooded through the push button. My LDS have had around 6 of them come back with the same problem and none returned with the magnetic switch on top.

Spear One do you make a light adapter for the older commercial muzzle?

Sorry, no I do not have anything for the old style muzzle.

The Spike Light adapter will also fit the Intova magnetic top switch model.

I was unaware of any significant problems with the back switch lights. If there is a design/engineering problem with the switch I hope they get it worked out because I was pretty happy with the size, weight, performance etc. on this light. If we can put humans in space...........why can't somebody make a super reliable dive light?

The magnetic switch is the one by the head of the torch right? I think that the Nova and the Wide Angle Nova are the only ones with out the button on the rear (no comment from the peanut gallery about bucket please ) Other than that the other one, the compact, has the push button.

Okay since Kevin has made a mount for it, I would assume it is worth purchasing. Now the next question. Which one is the best, brightest? is it worth the wide angle or just go with the Nova?

Should I start a new thread for reviews?
