    Default DIY Dive-light.

Hey, guys. I have a quite large and powerful flashlight. I'll take a picture of it if anybody needs a picture to answer my question. But, is it possible that I could use a vacuum bag and take it down as a dive-light? Or would it not work?

If you don't like the light, I would try it just to see how far down you can get.

Most lights will not handle the pressure at depth

I can only go 20-30 ft, anyways, because I'm currently diving in the Monongahela River.

You can always 5200 all the seals together and that would work too.

hahahahaha, nice name. Are you from around here? And, it's really not that bad. There's a boat launch right by my house, and if you go out into the middle(about 75 yards out), you can actually see our anchor and line from a few feet away. We're just freediving, so it's not that bad.

Moved down 3 years ago. Originally from Penn Hills. Last few years before I moved down I lived in Greenfield in the city. Always come back up for a game or two. Going to the 9/26 game down here and then coming up for the Sunday night game against the Pats.

Shoot me a PM if you wanna go for a dive while you're up here next time. We'll go to a nice little quarry.
