Default Cressi Pneumatic 100

I am new to the Forum and a new Spearfisherman. I purchased the Cressi but the instructions that came with it are horrible. Even the online information is weak. I have no idea how to rig the line to the gun or how to know when the gun is pumped to full power.
Anyone with knowledge of this gun would be greatly appreciated. I live in Gainesville Fl and will be using it in Saltwater.

I used to shoot that gun. It takes experience to feel when the power is right. Work with it some & keep adding air 25 pump strokes at a time until it is firm to load, but not overly hard. If you overpressurize it, the shock absorber will break. Same if you fire it out of the water. Throw away the stock shaft & get some good ones from Ray Odor.

I had one of these. It's in bar and not psi. Something like 36bar so I'll either have to get a gauge or find a chart for the gun that tells you how many pumps per one bar.

Thanks for the information. The problem I am having is that the factory load seems to be too much. Should I escape all the air and start from the beginning to pump it? You said 25 pumps at a time. I feel I need to start at 25 and see if I can load it . If 25 seems too week I will add another 25 and try that. Is that what you would suggest?
