I did some skin diving between scuba dives for the HD Rodeo and am starting to improve my lung capacity. I'm able to hit that 30-35' stantion and stay there for a little bit before coming back up.

I'm currently using my scuba pro jet fins to skin dive. Will freediving fins make that much of a difference?

If anyone has any tips please pass them my way!

Was wondering if anyone from FL will be participating and need another shooter. This sounds like a lot of fun.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely,
in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in side ways,
totally worn out, yelling... "That was a hell of a ride!!!"

Freediving fins help a lot.The best and most comfortable fins for the money are Cressi Gara 3000 which have plastic blades that are extremely durable and very comfortable foot pockets.I have seen them advertised for about $100.Long freediving fins make you more efficient moving through the water especially when you start going deeper.

WARNING:freediving can be addictive, but it's also a lot of fun!!

You can learn from your friends who freedive, and it's a great idea to take a class.
