I drew Hardee County this year.

Last Saturday, I scouted a nice mile long stretch of a private creek that I have gained access to both sides. Saw a half dozen gators better than 8 feet, one probably pushing 11.

I wanted to get in the water with them and do it with my deathstick, but the water is so tanic I would probably only have 18 inches of vis. That would make me a tad uncomfortable. If I had 5 feet I would probably do it.

Plan B is the bow.
Plan C baited wooden plug
Plan D, snatch hook
Plan E, newly constructed throwing harpoon.

All plans will be followed up with a second line harpoon and a 38 special bangstick.

Thursday night, it is on like Donkey Kong.
