'Revillagigedo Islands Trip". The 5 islands that make up the Revillagigedo Islands is a marine reserve laying 300 miles south of Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Baja Sur. No commercial fishing or harvesting is allowed at the islands. All boats must file for permits to be allowed to enter the reserve and be able to fish and or spearfish. These water have a resident populations of Yellowfin Tuna that range from small up to over 400 pounds, Wahoo that exceed 100 pounds and bottom fish such as Grouper, Pargo and Cubera Snapper that have been taken in excess of 100's of pounds. These waters are virgin waters that are visited by less then 25 private non commercial boats each year.
The trip will be a 5 day trip leaving from Cabo San Lucas and returning to Cabo San Lucas. The trips will consist the usage of the 65' Hawthorne. The mothership will have two chase boats to give aid to the divers. The crew consists of 1st and 2nd Captain, a Cook and crew. Custom built long range sport fisher designed and built specifically for multi-day sport fishing trips. She is 65ft. overall with a maximum beam of 18.5ft. she is laid out with 3 staterooms and 2 heads, an enclosed bridge with an extensive electronics list and bunks for the crew. Aft of the bridge is a settee with table for relaxing. Cockpit measures a huge 16 x16 feet with a wide walk around to the bow, her swim step and transom door makes access simple. Her 3 double staterooms are equipped with personal storage, oversized high-low bunks, flat panel t.v.’s with c-d and d.v.d players and each room has individual a/c controls. Sleeping a total of 6 in seperate beds. The complete galley has stove; microwave a large refrigerator and equipment for preparing meals. The salon has a 32”flat panel t.v. with surround sound stereo, d.v.d and c-d player. 2 L-shaped sofa’s with removable tables make for comfortable times for relaxing and for meals. We serve 3 full meals a day with snacks and drinks, all meals are made from scratch and served family style. All our trips are “all inclusive” which means that everything is included from tackle to food and snacks (does not include wine and hard liquor) beer is provided at 2 cases per day. Water, juice and sodas are included, fruit, candy, munchies ect. Are also included. Tackle ranges from 6 pound Bass gear for the Mangroves to 100 pound stand up tuna rods with everything in between, terminal tackle, hooks, iron ect. Are provided for your convenienceand fishing enjoyment. Equipment includes but not limited to; Fuel:1600 gallons Water: 150 gallons(600 gal. per day watermaker) Bait cap. App.60 scoops in three tanks Fish storage: 15 c.f. ft. deck freezer,5 ton refrigerated fish hold 20 ft. outriggers, 7 trolling rod holders, rod holders around bait tank and at back of bridge and at bow bait tank, fore, aft and side deck lights Wesmar scanning sonar Seatex3000 watt, 14”video fish finder Furuno fish finder Polaris v.h.f. direction finder 4 v.h.f. radios Single side band radio Furuno weather fax 2 g.p.s. plotters Computer with g.p.s.- chart nav. I am sorry what is HNL? Hook and Line maybe? We do both spearfishing as well and fishing trips. This trip is soley focused on spearfishing but we will be trolling during tranist and encourage fishing in between diving.
