    Default Whats your favorite polespear?

Hey Guys, im trying to decide what polespear to purchase for the upcoming summer. What do you guys use/recommend/have used before.

Its purpose will be to shoot hogs, mutton, and grouper off reefs and i am leaning towards a 8+ footer... NEEDS to be slip tip compatabile

Lot of good polespears out there. If you plan on shooting bigger fish the Keller will be tough to beat.

Here is a summer end review I did on the spear.

The ray odor is a good pole spear if u don't want to spend that much money but it's heavy and it's hard to shoot a fast moving grouper.. But for hogfish you can't beat the ray odor

Yeah the Keller is a beast! I need to run the slip to for it. But this is a power stick that is a must have for structure hunting and shooting into caves....

Any reviews on the AB Biller 6' break down pole spear? It is grey. Headed down to the Abacos in a couple weeks. Thanks!

Check out JBL travel spear, both are very general purpose and entry level polespears.
Next I would suggest Headhunter Polespear for a higher quality option.
Many guys will take several polespears for redundancy incase a fish turns their polespear into a pretzel.

Thanks for the advice Chris - I had ordered the ABBiller and it ended up being backordered for a while. In the essence of time and what was in stock I ended up with the Sea Stinger Lightning Rod 80 with the SS3 slip tip and the mantacore paralyzer tip. Will let you all know how it works out when we get back. Safe diving!
